Julie's+Nhung's & Bowling

Hi guys! Double-ish post today since I never blogged about Julie + Nhung's surprise birthday on Tuesday. Yes, bad blogger, I know.

So last Tuesday (10th april) we finally had the surprise birthday barbecue for Julie & Nhung that Lily & I planned!

Was supposed to meet up w/ Lily, Hellen & Laura @ the civic at 8:30, but we kinda just met at 9.
Went to Woolies & bought all the barbecue stuff, surprisingly without much trouble! We also got them a cake from Woolies (don't judge bitches) because Hellen really liked it... so yeah.

Yeah, then we bussed to Southbank! Me & Laura swore that the guy sitting in front of us was from primary, so that sparked our conversation about old times! We then went to picnic island and started to unpack all of the stuff, which was stuffed into like 2 cooler bags. Pre good, pre good!

After like 10 minutes, me & Laura made an adventurous trip to the city to buy gifts. It was so freaking exhausting! Went to eb games for Julie, then Famous footwear for Nhung! We then got a call from Lily saying we needed a can opener, so we spent forever trying to find that+a card. Crazy clarks was our can opener saviour!!

Got back only to realise the bread had already diminished so I had to walk AGAIN to food works to buy more /sadlyf. By the time we got back most of our friends had already eaten so they just all stood around for a bit whilst I enjoyed the bbq food :)

Yeah, whilst I was eating they were like... chasing away all the ibises & this is what Lily ended up doing with the beetroot juice to "scare future barbecuers" /smh

Then we cleaned up & realised we still had like 3 large bottles of soft drink left so we decided to play I Never to get rid of them. We had to scull almost all of our cup if we had done something. Everyone was complaining LOL, and frigging Julie's first go was "I never peed this morning" & everyone was like... wtf? how could you not have peed in the morning? Haha, so everyone else had to drink :( By the time we got all around the circle everyone's stomachs were pretty much filled with soft drink. It was such a bad feeling! We all needed to piss so freaking badly, but at least we finished the bottles. We all expected Nhung to say something sexual which was funny. The first person that wanted to leave for the rest room had to eat beetroot LOL.

Jenny was probably in the most pain from the game, as you can see.

So after Jenny received her punishment, we were allowed to go to the toilet. Okay, I can't remember exactly who, but a bunch of us literally speed walked to the toilets, only to realise we had to wait in line.

We split into two groups and a bunch of us took the bus & some of us walked back to the city to go to karaoke! It was fun, but not many people wanted to dance :( Sang happy birthday to Julie and Nhung, and some of us ate the cake.

I think we then just walked around for a bit & ended up at funhouse. Afterwards we ended our day by eating snacks at the food court :)
Thank you to: Hellen, Laura, Jenny Nguyen, Vy, Nancy & Sandy for attending! I'm sure the birthday girls appreciated it. Me & Lily are glad the event turned out well!

Sunday 15th April: Bowling

For the last day before school Laura organized a bowling event @ amf Richlands!
We got there at around 10:40ish and realised we had to wait til freaking 12:30 for a lane because there was some sort of competition going on? So we all got tokens and just killed time by playing with the arcade games that they had.

Ate; Lisa & Nhung thought it'd be cool to put a fake cockroach in my food LOL
Laura & Lily had a disagreement whether they got scammed by 'Coke Ice up' or not

Lisa turned out to be all talk, but Nhung defeated us LOL
Nhung was a sore loser against Lily in that table hockey thing, so when Lily scored a point Nhung was all like "The game finished guys"... so when Lily walked away Nhung hardcore grabbed the piece and tried to score a goal, but it ended up rebounding off the glass & almost hit me. Had to be there moment for sure.
Bowled with no bumpers at first and we all failed miserably
Laura got the ball stuck so the lady told us to put bumpers up
Nhung's such a pro! We were all so competitive
Everyone started improving so we put the bumpers down
The real competition started between our team (Me, Nancy, Lisa) & Lily, Nhung + Laura's team
It was so fun! Our team won in the end, but Nhung won overall that pro bitch.
