Anna's Sweet 16th/J's surprise
Wednesday, January 16, 2013 @ 1:35 AM
Greetings friends! On the 8th of December I attended Anna's Sweet 16th birthday picnic which was held at the Roma Street Parklands!

Headed out to the city earlier than the rest of the group with Lily & Cindy so that we could get some last minute gifts in order. Helped Cindy choose a cake for Anna, went to Amart so I could get Anna a 'Wilson' tennis ball for DA LOLZ and took a trip to the reject shop before meeting up with Laura where I can't remember exactly what we did, but we got ourselves some sushi & drinks before setting off for the train station. Oh yeah, Lily's shoes also broke, well the strap LOL.

We look like derps here but whatever LOL

Got to the parklands and raced over to the 'waterfall' thing exclaiming about how cool it was whilst trying to locate the rest of the group. Eventually our numerous phone calls paid off and we met up with everyone which included: Anna (duh), Stacey, Sandy, Mikkey, Lisa, Vy, Julie and the 4 us :) Then we just tried looking for a nice place to have a picnic, and when we did, everyone helped set up, unpack and then we just began eating!

The best food that we ate was probably the crackers with cheese and cheerios, because well, you'd have Lily with her 'french touch' and choice of degree of cream cheese. BUT, the best part about it was actually the cracker and how much fun we had with it.

Okay, so I started instagramming pictures of our picnic, and then somehow Lily got a hold of Laura's phone or something and started uploading pictures of a plain cracker in all sorts of different angles with the most bizarrest and lame hashtags such as #allnatural #nomakeup #swag #illest #titsoutfortheboiz and all this other really funny stuff. What killed me was the photo of Laura with a cracker head.

After the hype of the cracker died down we proceeded to play pass the parcel (which had cool as gifts in them such as mini nerf guns!) and then sung happy birthday! We all tried hard to do a decent job of finishing the cake Cindy/Laura prepared, but looks can be deceiving with this 9 layer of chocolate textured cake. Could not smash.

Then it was present time and Anna's reactions were so cute! She got a range of things which ranged from beauty products to even... bananas haha.

 WILSON YEAHHHHHHHHHHH

After present time I think a few people went for walks or to do exploring or whatever, whilst a few of us just lazed around on the picnic mats playing with the nerf guns and the cool canvas that Anna received! Had competitions with Vy to see who could accurately shoot the 'targets' on the canvas. Idk what we did but it was fun LOL. Then we took groupies and what not and headed back to the train station :)

I think Cindy was the person holding it LOL. We used various things on the canvas as targets, as you can see.

Some people went home and the rest of us karaoked! It was the usual scene with Stacey doing her crazy ass  thang as usual! Then the group split and some of us went 'shopping'. A very nice first for our group to go on a picnic, so thanks to Anna! I will leave you with pictures of Stacey's karaoke antics.

Then later that night I went to Jennie's 'surprise' birthday party event and to sum it up briefly it was a very good night IMO! Highlights: Dancing/singing, glow sticks, 5d's performance, and the fun atmosphere + late night noodles with mly :) Picture courtesy goes to the resident 'photographers' of the night!

The lighting/music effects were pretty rad
I remember sharing fairy floss with the home slice

Mly the cutie + you could tell the flash was bright LOL
