To usher in 2015, Tevin hosted an apartment party! I decided to go the whole night completely sober and was pretty proud of myself :') The highlights of the evening included hanging out on the balcony admiring the impressive view, watching Tevin dance, counting down to midnight with everyone and being in awe with the display of fireworks that seemed so close to us! To kick on the celebrations, a few of us headed out to see Code Black after the fireworks. It was a shame he didn't play for as long as expected but all in all it was a great way to start the year with everyone. The new years album has since been taken down from fb so unfortunately I don't have many exciting photos :( 

So after coming back to Brisbane after Stereosonic to do my deferred exam, I flew back to Melbourne and stayed there for another 2 weeks or so! I pretty much did what I usually do down there which was hang out with my bestfriend, spend time with my family, go to tet festival and ofc pig out on all the delicious food that Melbourne has to offer. 

Anjelina took me to the Queen Victoria night food markets for the first time and man I was so excited! I also coincidentally bumped into Laura there and we had a nice lil chat. Tried sangria for the first time and my alcohol tolerance dropped so much that I was beginning to feel buzzed and ofc, flushed just off one cup (so embarrassing). After stuffing our faces we made our way to Crown to test our luck (to no avail) and ended our night off with some ice-cream by the Yarra.

Spent most of our day at MC! I had to get my TGI Friday's fix before all else and then we went to watch Taken 3, browse around and then she took me to explore the State Library and the iconic La Trobe reading room. 

Before catching a flight home, I spent my last hours in Melbourne by once more, heading out to the city for a feed. This time Anjelina recommended a little tucked away korean joint that was I think well known for their cheesy dishes and then afterwards we just relaxed outside the state library enjoying the free live music. 

This is the day that Lily hosted a little I guess you could call it a reunion for our group at the lovely L-crib! But! It was also the day that we voted for the first time (yas Annastacia) Anyway, it was the usual mass feasting and craziness that is synonymous with any of our large group gatherings and it was just good to see everyone again after a year of graduating :) Highlights included the bbq (duh), watching people get drilled by mozzies, giving out all the late birthday presents, crowding around to watch the tennis finals and lets not forget - cards against humanity.
