2014 Recap: 3rd Quarter

Greetings friends! Long time no see, but, I have an excuse as I was in Melbourne for a time being shortly after new years (which you will also be able to read about once I hurry my ass up and finish these recaps). Now, getting back on track, the 3rd quarter was seemingly quiet and only really picked up towards the end, as you will see!JULY
Lily's 18th Birthday:
Now because Lily likes to think she's special and shit, she actually had three birthday celebrations, but her main celebration with the group was held on the 11th! It was at the lovely L-crib and we spent the night feasting, catching up, and handing out all the other late birthday presents! After the actual event ended, some of the guys came over and we headed off to the city to have an after party at karaoke, which was fun and super tiring to say the least. We ended up at the L-crib again at the wee hours of the morning where Tri and Mat got faded, faded, faded, much to all who was there's entertainment.

Ling and Linh's 18th Birthday:
On August 29th, Ling and Linh held their joint 18th at a house they rented in Windsor! It was a little mission getting there for Nancy and I (we had to train to the valley and then cab it), but the rest of the night proved to be worth it. I should mention that it was white themed, and that it was very nice meeting some new people! The house itself gave off a cute, cabin-like vibe and I remember walking up and down into the house numerous times. At around midnight, most of the party made their way to the Valley so we could see Timmy Trumpet at Family! His club set was so good and I had a blast dancing with everyone. It was a very enjoyable evening IMO! (dslr photo cred to Anousa).

SEPTEMBER
Mat's 18th Birthday:
On September 12th, Mat had a house party to celebrate his 18th! Initially I had decided to not go and instead study for my midsem the next day, but knowing me, at the last minute, I indeed attended (duh). Highlights of the night included being super excited when I got a feed, crowding into the photo booth that he had organised, watching some NRL, and witnessing the birthday boy getting smashed. I was being very responsible with my bottle of h20 that night and left early to get some study in, yay me. (Photo credit to Alesscia, Kevin and Photo Booth Delight).

Mai's 18th Birthday:
On the 20th of the month, Mai held her 18th at Oaks iStay! From what was left of my memory, I can remember that the majority of the night for me included: crowding around in the room taking numerous photos, admiring the view of the story bridge on the balcony whilst playing various card games, singing quite loudly (which is why I assume Lily was continuously telling me to shutup) and dancing in the living room, all whilst getting a bit too buzzed in the process. Towards midnight or so, a bunch of us decided to head out to the MET and in all honestly I was mainly concentrating on not stacking it on the dance floor and had to retire to the couches they had for most the duration we were there, but it was still a very fun night no doubt. Well there you have it, friends! My 3rd quarter of 2014. I'm already dreading writing the next one because there's so much I have to talk about, but I'll get there!
